I am just amazed that people will try to defend their animal's behavior like this at any cost rather than appologize and make sure the other person is ok. I love the most stupid line in the whole thing, "It's not my fault, I didn't mean to...". Give me a break. Get your damn dog on a leash for crying out loud. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DOG!!!!!!. Yup, as I walk my dog , ON a leash, many neighbors with loose dogs ( against our local leash law) , well, they run up hollering "Don't worry , my dog doesn't bite...." Well, mine does. Especially if leashed and some loose dog runs up to us. He's perfectly friendly when unleashed running free at the fenced dog park. Its the way many dogs are. I'd tell that irresponsible woman to leash her animal and buy a muzzle if need be.
