also in Pirates of the Caribbean, during the major fight near the end, no-one in the life boats heading for shore hears the gun fire and cannon fire until the bell rings! :-D

Also in "Lord of the Rings" when Gandalf the White calls his horse in the side shot you can see he is wearing Converse high tops.
