Padre Gonsalves was among the first PALEFACE missionery who doubled as white medicine man to reach American continent's deep parts ruled by fierce native American chief known as THE BIG CHIEF.

It so happened that his chronic constipation could not be cured by his own medicine man

There was uneasy truce between the palefaces and the braves. Padre was running his church cum clinic out side of the camp.

One night , a huge brave came in and knocked at the door of the log cabin.

"Who is there?" the padre asked.

"Me cougar spirit brave" , came the reply

"What do you want?" padre's voice started faltering.
He was scared that a brave had come in the dead of the night.

"Big chief, No shit for four days. Want White man's medicine" he said.

Padre opened the door and let the huge brave in.
He gave him one purgolax tablet and asked him to give it to the chief.

That night, again there was a knock at the door and brave announced his arrival.

" What happened?" he inquired

"Big chief No shit. Want two medicines."

Padre complied with the order and brave disappeared silently.

Next night, there was a knock at the door for the third night in a row.

" OPEN UP WITE MEDICINE MAN" Hissed the brave

" The sound shook the earth under padre's feet.
He let the brave in.

The brave put his tomahawk at padre's throat and said,

" Big chief still no shit. If no shit today, I kill"

Padre gave of the whole bottle of purgolax .
Again the brave disappeared in the night.

The fifth night, there was an urgent knock at the door. There was the brave with his weapon raised and anger in his eyes.

Wwwwwhaaad Happeend? asked the padre in scared tone.
The brave replied, Just before  slitting the throat and scalping the padre,

BIG SHIT...NO CHIEF"."
