Jack Wild who played the boy. Past away a few months ago. He also played Oliver Twist in the movie "OLIVER".

Oh, my gosh! I watched this show every Saturday morning even without magical mushroom pancakes. I even collected enough box tops to send away for the magic golden flute. I still have it around here someplace, I think!

man oh man oh man--did this ever take me back!! My parents thought it was a 70s drug-related show, but they were usually in bed or in the kitchen when it was on Saturday mornings!! I wanted so much to save the boxtops for the flute, but my mother would not hear of it...Lucky!!

thanks tullcat! I remember Puffenstuff! One of my favorites..never liked the witch and Mom would not let me get the flute! darn it!
