Whatever your political persuasion, get a clue. In Apple's "1984" it's Big Brother, _on-screen_, who gets smashed by the "freedom fighter"/revolutionary's hammer.
Ergo, Hillary-as-dictator. Did "jibjabmanifesto" confuse that deliberately? We can only guess.
They (the Clintons) are some of the biggest proponets of Orwell's vision, as well as Huxley's, and why couldn't it be Big Sister?

Hey, Caesar, what's the confusion? Hillary represents the establishment/status quo/big brother and Barrack represents the freedom fighter/revolutionary (and it seems that Apple is still fighting this fight 23 years later).

You go Democrates the more you bash each other the better. This will give us Republicans a better edge come 2008. Just remember Hillary voted for the War before she was against it by voting for a dead line to get the troops out of Iraq.

Wow. That's Deep. (LOL) It's a good thing I'm neither Democratic or Republican. I like Honest Politicians. ( If there ARE any)
I like Obama better than Hillary, I dont think he has the experience required to be president though. I like Rudy, HATE McCane. Oh well. My two cents. :-*
There are some I plan on being one someday soon. We the People have to keep our eyes open and our heads out of our asses and stop spewing #?:@ at each other

At this point in time I am not sure who I favor, but the intelligence shown by the Hillary bashers in the above posts does not make me lean towards the right!!!
true, the same can be said for the Bush bashers on the left. Just remember we have only two parties and .... Well all I can say is if you want your voice heard before Election day get involved with your Party, change it from the inside. Or organize a third party in your district.

You americans seem far too polarised, politically, I suggest you all get together in one house and talk about everything other than politics, so you understand why your "opponents" have those views, your not all Democrats and Republicans...surely there are 3rd party people? (joking..joking..)..your people
No more polarized than Labor and Tori. England/Scottland/Ireland/Whales the Commonwealth countries. On a wider scale look at the EU, how polarized would you say it is?

replyAny ideas on how I can get a hold of that "1984" clip? All too true about the course our government is taking us... Right on OvedBCaesar!

replyI just saw on CNN last night that an Obama staff member did this whithout permission and has been fired!! :-O
replyThat's because he and the DNC think Orwell had a great Idea, just like Marx!
Thats why the democrats cant get anything done, they are too busy screwing each other over. While the republicans will unite. It's really sad! %7C :-(
replyWELL SAID!!!!
Obama needs to watch his back. The Clintons are not someone to screw around with.
replyIt must have been a very old video of Hillary -- she looked too young -- maybe it was made when that Apple commercial was made :-D :-D :-D
replyI can't stand either Obama or Hillary. %7C But I LIKE this ad. ;-)
