Around here we have what they call "Black Ice"
Now let me be clear on that, just as it is.
Black ice is elusive, drivers looking out the windshield and believe that they're driving on newly paved roads! But the roads aren't any newer than the day they were born! It's what "They" call the Power of the State!
Or what we have now become to know... Lavage De Cadavore
I have lived in Seattle and when one snowflake falls from the sky everyone loses their minds. Businesses shut down and people drive for home as fast as they can. I grew up on the East side of Washington State (where it is dry and hot in summer, surprise) and we get lots of snow in the winter. The bottom line is, whenever it snows Seattleites lose their minds.

City people in general lose their minds everytime it snows. Chains, studs, even ice tires would have allowed a sane person to negotioate that just fine. I do it everyday. Especially that subaru, no excuse for going that fast. The first car should be paying for a lot of people's damage....he/she did everything you can, wrong.

Xwashington==One thing you and other morons from the midwest dont think about is that Seattle is a city built on Hills. I don't care were you live or where you were born, there is not a person who could have gone down that hill. Ice is ice and a hill is a hill. Eastern Washington is as flat as a twelve year old girl. Although, I agree w/supergraphic, when I see cars in ten different directions I simply park and walk.
