An eager young police officer pulls over a speeding driver. Upon asking for the driver's license and registration, the driver tells the young rookie, "Officer, I must confess I have a dead body in the trunk of the car."

The young rookie gets excited and runs back to his cruiser and calls for his supervisor to assist.

Within a few minutes the police supervisor arrives on scene and gets the story from the rookie officer.

Cautiously the supervisor approaches the driver of the car. The supervisor asks the driver, "Sir, do you have a dead body in your trunk?"

The driver chuckles and says, "No, sir. What makes you ask?"

The supervisor says, "This officer says you have a dead body in your trunk."

The driver replies, "You can check if you like. I think the rookie just wants to write a lot of tickets this week. The next thing he will tell you is that I was speeding."
