You should look at a few of the 9/11 conspiracy theories. There's some information out there that's near impossible to disprove without saying "the laws of physics didn't apply three times in one day." One of these theories is that it was someone within our borders that did it, possibly the government. I'd post some of the information, but it'd take too much space. Instead, I'll just give a word combination to look up for yourself: "Loose Change" It definitely makes it look like Bush may have been behind it, because many of the "facts" the government pumped out were so skewed that it was literally impossible to have happened the way the government stated. This isn't unductive reasoning either; it's cold, hard facts that the government suppressed, or refused to note at all.
You realise the laws of physics are very, very lax, dont you? and the terrorists could have very well had a backup in case someone stopped them.

Yeah, maybe you should go talk to your local elementary History teacher, they might remind you, we gained our independence with the assistance of the French Navy, the Spanish, and also the Dutch, maybe you forgot that part, at that point in time everyone hated england, because they had ruled for so long. The others helped us gain our Independence, they may not of played that big of a role, but the french had soldiers on the ground, and ships in the bays, bombarding the British forts. The spanish played a smaller role, along with the dutch. Pretty funny how close the US and French used to be, I mean hey they gave us lady liberty, The statue of liberty that is, ohh you probably didnt know that either. What we are doing in Iraq is giving them the extra edge they needed, just like the same was done for us 231 years ago......
You forgot the financal aid, training, and arms the French also gave us. Oh and we never did really thank them for it (part of the reason The French are so pissed at us, we neglect to give credit where credit is due.)

actually, Truman wasn't that popular. Petesakes, everyone thought he was going to lose. FDR may have been popular, but he didn't do much to solve the great depression and just ended up with a bigger government. It wasn't till WW2 till we fully recovered. LBJ wasn't viewed popular till later. Then Clinton, well he might of left the white house popular, but he left a big stain in the white house and in america, literally and metaphorically. just trying to say that popularity doesn't mean you are a great leader.
