| About Me: | I'm 45. I'm happily married.I have four stepdaughters, and 6 grandchildren. I have 3 four-legged children (2 spoiled dogs and 1 prissy cat). My life has changed dramatically in the past year. I am a displaced person because of Hurricane Katrina. I belong in New Orleans but can no longer live there. I now live in a nice little rural community in Alabama. I took the last year off work to organize my new life. I am going to attempt to start a business very soon. I was a cab driver in New Orleans for 12 years, and before that I tended bar for about 15 years. I feel like I have a P.H.D. in body language thanks to working in the service industry for so long. I have had serious medical problems and through the grace of God, I'm fine now. I'm pretty lonely these days since my friends are scattered from one end of the rainbow to the other since the storm. I'm a little too aggressive for the people here. They're extremely nice here. It's rare to hear a curse word. It's rare to see someone smoking, drinking, or making a fool out of themselves in public. This place has almost an alien feel to it. It's almost too perfect, if you know what I mean. It's almost like Stepfordville. |
