Welcome Message: I am who I am...some of my stuff is funny...some of it is serious...sometimes I am on my soap box and the rest is just an odd assortment of inane stuff what gets emailed to me LOL... I am a life long Democrat who has like zero patience for stupidity. It has been a long 6 1/2 years...I am nearly beside myself LOL.

Favorite Comedians: Robin Williams, Whoopie Goldberg, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Sam Kenison & Tim Wilson...and Gallagher - I really have to agree with Gallagher. You have to point out the Stupid when you see it.
Favorite Movies: JFK, You Got Mail, The Hunt For Red October, any and all Star Wars movies, Jumping Jack Flash, All Monty Python and I loved Ghost...it made me cry.
Favorite Television Shows: The West Wing, Jericho, Jeopardy, SNL, most anything on HGTV and Who's Line Is It Anyway...Oh yeah - and That '70's Show...OMG I grew up with people like Hyde and Kelso!
Favorite Music: Classic Rock...old R&B...70's Funk and Pop that I grew up on ... I am a big time Beatles Fan as Paul McCartney rules...I also like most of the '80s hair bands...but I do not care for what is referred to nowdays as hard rock...I must be getting old cause I think it sucks. I feel the same way Bob Seger does...Just Take Those Old Records Off The Shelf...
Favorite Books: The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and any books by Julie Garwood and Judith McNaught. I am also reading Al Gore's Assault on Reason (wow, that is a jump - romance and fufu novels to Al Gore...A Frauden slip you ask? I think not...just shows that I have excellent taste thank you very much...) You really need to read this book...Al Gore is very wise...
Heroes: Bill Clinton, Paul McCartney and Jimmy Carter... Bill Clinton might have had a problem with his zipper, but as far as I am concerned, that is Hillary's problem. We had a SURPLUS, we had good paying jobs, we had cheap gas, no one died when Bill lied...it was like Camelot. Paul Mc Cartney is so extremely talented...it seems he has writtent he sound track of my life <grin> I am sorry to see his marriage is not going well, but the man is such a class act, it is hard to not admire him. President Carter took office in a very difficult and disilluioned time in this country and I think he did the best with what he had to work with...but no other president has done more for peace and prosperity around the world than Jimmy Carter. I think he deserves more respect than he is given. I also must say I just love Al Gore...and John Edwards...they need to run in 2008. I am not impressed with Hillary or Obama...but I could get behind a Gore/Edwards ticket.
Villains: 99% of the Republican party....'nuf said...those rat bastards....oh yeah, and my Future-Ex-Brother-In-Law who is also a big time Rat Bastard....that is why my sister is showing great intelligence by divorcing him. And last but certainly not least - my Son's 6th grade social studies teacher who thinks the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution are the same document...The Dumbing Down of America continues via our 'fine' public schools.
Interests: Gardening, Government and US History. I love this country - I wish US History was more widely taught in the public schools. Here in Florida it is not a high priority until 11th or 12th grade. From Kindergarden children ought to be taught how our country came to be and really know what makes this country unique.
