JokeBox is a trading hub for the funniest videos, pictures and text jokes on the web. The JibJab Brothers (Gregg and Evan Spiridellis) dreamed up the idea after wishing that they had a place to store and share all the nutty email jokes that their father sent them. With your free JokeBox account you can store and organize all of your favorite funny email jokes in one place, share 'em with friends, meet new people and discover the latest and greatest online laughs! Today, we limit unregistered users to 100 jokes per day. Registered users can see all the jokes they want. Serving all of these jokes costs a boatload of money and we rely on advertisers to pay the bills. By having a registered community, we can provide advertisers with basic information so that they have a sense for who is seeing their message (e.g., men between the ages of 35 and 49). Rest assured that your personal identity is never revealed, just general audience data. JibJabber are awarded badges based on their activities on the site. There are four types of badges that have been awarded so far:

1. Founding Member - Recognizing JibJabbers who have been with us the longest (some since our Brooklyn days!), this badge was awarded to those who joined us prior to the success of "This Land".

2. The Great Experiment - In August of 205, we launched a nationwide audition for the JibJab Original "Big Box Mart". The Great Experiment badge was awarded to JibJabbers who submitted photos of either themselves or prop items for this audition.

3. Big Box Mart - Awarded to JibJabbers whose faces or props were used in the JibJab Original "Big Box Mart"

4. JokeBox Beta - JibJabbers who responded to our JokeBox Beta challenge in early 2006, thereby helping us build the great site we have today, were awarded this badge.

5. Over 100 - JibJabbers who upload over 100 jokes are awarded this badge. Back to Top
